  yesterday on the ministry i was offering halloween mags (i know,i just dont even try anymore!

  The point here is the increasingly amorphous nature of the “unchangeable” beliefs of this “god directed” secretive society.

  How do you research what you are supposed to believe now? You may well have one version in print, another on WT library and yet another for the same publication on line. Even a conscientious dub is not going to know what he is supposed to think or where he stands.

  There is so much potential confusion, how does anyone offer clear answers to fair questions?

  We in the UK have been trying to follow in our old NWT editions whilst the elite have been using their silver bullets on the platform. It can be difficult to follow. The whole picture is getting more confused, hazier and less convincing by the day. It is like trying to follow the rapidly changing policies of a failing political party as it tries to synch irreconcilable conflicting interests.

  You could go on line and find that every thing you thought you knew is now different. It’s like trying to walk on rapidly melting ice over deep, dark cold water.

  There are going to be some very wet feet soon.

  do you ever wonder if the watchtower writers actually read the context of their key scriptures?.

  they seem intent on perpetuating the idea that the jewish law was divine - perfect.. paragraph two asks the question "what would prompt an israelite slave to forfeit his opportunity.

  Bloody Hell, (that is cursing in England), what a scripture passage to use. Cruel family break up choice on one side, sexual slavery on the other. this held up to be a loving provision. With that definition of love, the JW republic is over-flowing with Lurve.

  I would rather have the world's version than the chilling, hypocritical substitute that the Borg has.

  3rdgen, we are members of the same club. I just wish the dues weren't so high. I just weep when I see kids walk into that pool with there eyes gleaming and their folks taking pictures. If only they knew.

  Thanks guys. As always Blondie your research is impeccable. I have had that little escape strategy in the back of my mind for years. As always, the best way is route one. Look the bar stewards in the eye and face them down.

  It was a nice illusion whilst it lasted though. I should have known that I can't rely on an impartial judiciary.
